Eph. 2:10 “For we are God’s masterpiece. He has created us anew in Christ Jesus, so we can do the good things He planned for us long ago.”
John 15:16 “You did not choose me, but I chose you and appointed you to go and bear much fruit-fruit that will last. Then the Father will give you whatever you ask in my name.”
Wow, in my quite time yesterday there was a song saying that we are His masterpiece. I began to cry, thinking that He hand picked me, He set me apart, He made me who I am today so that I might fulfill this one task. But that fact that He picked me to do this is what was so humbling. And these two verses confirmed it, and put in a manner that is such sweet honey to my soul. To sit down and write down the series of events and skills that I have acquired to get me to where I am to do what I am about to do would take a long time. I see God’s hand all over me all the. Sometimes I wonder why? To be honest I haven’t been seeking God with all my heart, but I still hear from Him and feel His presence, and know His direction. I feel that I am in my teenage years with God. Teens think their parents are dorky and really don’t want to hang with them (not that I think God is dorky), but they know what their parents wishes are so they do the minimum to get by and their parents still love them and push them even though they know their kids don’t want to spend much time with them. My prayer is that I will see God in a new light, that I might make Him personal and become a spiritual adult during my time at FPO (Field Personal Orientation).
